qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Fort Worth, Texas, 76104! Job

preferred Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed
professional who coordinates patient care delivery by the
healthcare team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the
patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health
problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care,
and evaluates the patient's response. The RN promotes safe passage
for patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare
environment. The RN delegates interventions to healthcare personnel
based on each patient's condition and the competencies of the
employee. This position applies to RNs in hospital inpatient and
outpatient departments with 24/7 staffing, which includes
departments with on-call staffing. Essential Functions: The RN
conducts accurate clinical assessments according to practice
standards. Identifies and prioritizes patient and family needs.
Develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing plan of care.
Modifies the plan to meet clinical outcomes. The RN systematically
evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Supports evidence-based practice changes through research
utilization and experiential learning. Participates in quality and
performance improvement initiatives. Creates a compassionate,
supportive, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and
families. Develops therapeutic relationships with patients and
families and maintains appropriate boundaries. Manages both
emotional and physical pain to promote comfort and healing,
preventing unnecessary suffering. Recognizes, appreciates, and
incorporates unique differences of patients and families into an
individualized plan of care. Preserves and protects the
confidentiality, autonomy, dignity, and rights of patients and
families. Creates individualized plans that reflect patient and
family values and goals. Facilitates learning for patients,
families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
Integrates appropriate education throughout the continuum of care.
Assesses and documents learning needs and outcomes. Works
collaboratively with colleagues and community to develop and
implement an integrated plan of care. Opens communications to
ensure all team members' unique contributions are valued. Delegates
tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensures timely follow-up.
Uses strategies for problem-solving for patients, families, and
