A Registered Nurse with specialized skills in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing is needed for a contract position in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing critical perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular surgeries in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the CVOR for cardiac and vascular procedures by ensuring sterile conditions and surgical equipment readiness. Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs, managing instruments, and monitoring patient status during procedures. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Monitor patients vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgery. Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient records in compliance with hospital policies. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Proven experience as a CVOR nurse or in a similar perioperative nursing role. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
