Mon-Fri with a rotating day off On-Call Requirement: Approx. 9-11
on-call shifts per month- 30 minute call window required
Requirements - Min of 2 years of hospital critical care, PACU or
Procedural experience. Experience with stroke/neuro procedures in
IR preferred IR Department Patient Population: Adults 18 years or
older Patient Ratios: 1:1 Number of Beds: 3 procedure

Job Summary As an Interventional Radiology RN, use nursing
expertise to deliver patient care with the healthcare team. Tasks
include evaluating health, identifying issues, creating care plans,
and tracking treatment responses. Help patients navigate their
healthcare safely. Use knowledge of needs to prevent issues.
Essential Functions of the Role - Prioritizing patient and family
needs is crucial. Responsibilities involve developing,
implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Adjust as needed.
- Making a safe place for patients, families, staff is vital. -
This includes maintaining confidentiality and voicing patient
concerns when necessary. - The successful candidate will manage
learning for patients and families. They will help nursing staff
grow. Knowledge sharing in the health care team and community is
also promoted. - The perfect candidate partners effectively with
team members and the community to implement a cohesive care plan. -
The candidate must recognize limited resources and prioritize
safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care. - Encourage
professional growth by creating a positive work environment.
Support peers' professional development. Participation in continued
education and community service is valued. Key Success Factors - A
basic understanding of the patient care practices, medical
terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional
radiology nursing. - You must communicate clearly, both verbally
and in writing, to engage with different groups effectively. -
Critical thinking and problem-solving for providing optimal patient
care. - The ability to track changes in patients' health and
communicate clearly with nurses and doctors. - Basic computer
skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation

Graduate of an Accredited Program or (2) years of work experience
above the minimum qualification - The applicant's major field of
study should be Nursing. - Candidates must be Registered
Nurses(RN). - A (BLS) Basic Life Support certification is required
or must obtain within (30) thirty days of hire
