Duration: Locums About the Facility The facility operates three
locations in Texas with Epic EMR system implementation. Annual OB
emergency department patient volumes range from 378 to 2,440
patients, with NICU trauma levels varying from Level I to Level
III. The position requires a minimum of three years of OB/GYN
experience. About the Facility Location The facilities are located
in Mansfield, Charlton, and Midlothian, TX. About the Clinician's
Workday The OB/GYN hospitalist provides comprehensive assessments
for all triage patients during 24-hour coverage periods. The
clinician treats emergent unassigned OB/GYN patients requiring
consultation, admission, or emergent GYN surgery, while providing
coverage for unassigned obstetric patients presenting to the main
emergency room or labor and delivery. Responsibilities include
conducting inpatient consults, postpartum and GYN rounds,
post-surgical follow-up, and supporting local private OB/GYN
physicians by managing their inpatients during coverage periods.
The position requires participation in simulations and drills on
labor and delivery, with approximately 15 shifts per month needed.
