Job Description Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) SANE / Forensic for a nursing job in Fort Worth, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: SANE / Forensic - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Staff Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Cln-Care Team Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: Functions in collaborative process with CARE team staff to assess and implement the educational needs of the department. Provides education and resources for staff, patients and families and the community. Provides patient care as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. Skillfully and consistently performs daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure. Nurse will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities. Shift will primarily be 3p - 3a with rotating weekends/holidays. Must be able to work different shifts as needed. Shift/Schedule will be discussed more in the interview. Education/Experience: - Minimum of 3 years ICU and/or ED experience required. - Prior teaching experience preferred. - BSN required. - MSN preferred. - Current permit or license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas - Must complete Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) certification within 1 year of hire date. - Current BLS.
