Job Description:

DFW Marriott Airport South is looking for a Sous Chef that will demonstrate a passion for hospitality and dedication to company values and customer service.

*Job description: *
The Sous Chef helps the Executive Chef direct and perform the daily execution of all assigned kitchen food production including restaurant, M-Club, room service, and banquets.

Just like the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef is expected to work on holidays, weekends, and various shifts depending on the business demand. Due to the nature of our business, this is inevitable.
*Responsibilities include but are not limited to: *

* Help in managing the culinary department
* Help in managing food and labor costs based on budget and forecast
* Monitor quality of food and presentation
* Order food and kitchen supplies
* Daily quality checks of all products, to ensure that all specs are being met as well as health standards
* Ensure restaurant and health department sanitation requirements are always maintained.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment and working areas are well maintained.
* Ensure that inventory is done on time and is accurate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,179.51 - $50,811.13 per year
