Job Description:
Cook Children’s Health Care System, based in Fort Worth, Texas
is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Infectious
Diseases physician to join our established 8-member Infectious
Diseases group consisting of six pediatric infectious diseases
physicians and two nurse practitioners. Our team delivers
comprehensive inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases services
with a strong emphasis on collaboration, continuity of care, and
clinical excellence. About the Opportunity: Our group provides a
wide range of infectious diseases management, including: Inpatient
and outpatient consultation Care for hospitalized patients across
multiple specialty units, including: Pediatric ICU Neuro ICU
Cardiac ICU Neonatal ICU Management of infectious complications in
bone marrow and renal transplant patients Broad outpatient
services, including: Hospital follow-up Evaluation of new
outpatient infections Ongoing care for patients with chronic
infections such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV Our team
values collaboration and shared decision-making. Our providers meet
three mornings per week to review all patients on service, ensuring
seamless continuity of care and collective input on complex cases.
