Software Engineer

What will I be doing?

The Software Engineer, UI Focus is responsible for developing software in a collaborative environment employing Agile development methodologies.

In this position, you will also---

--- Develop, test and support new and existing applications in an agile environment.
--- Contribute in the identification, design and implementation of solutions for software defects.
--- Produce high-quality and on-time deliverables according to planned project goals.
--- Support QA testing efforts and assist colleagues in troubleshooting production problems.
--- Maintain flexibility and strong working relationships with peers and management.

Qualified Candidates must have---

--- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience and/or training.
--- Minimum 2 years of development experience.
--- Minimum 1 year experience developing in a JavaScript framework like Angular or React.
--- Demonstrates effective communication skills and teamwork.
--- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
--- Ability to effectively learn and use new technologies.
--- Ability to manage workload and conflicting priorities.
--- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
--- Strong CSS skills, ideally with a framework like Bootstrap or Material

Superstar Candidates will ALSO have---

--- Experience developing high performant and large-scale Angular applications
--- Experience with modern automated testing practices
--- Experience developing with Java or other compiled languages.
--- Experience using Docker containers.
--- Experience developing in a Linux environment
--- Experience developing in SaaS environments such as AWS or Azure
