MUST - HAVES:
- In-depth experience with Sitecore.
- In-depth experience with web AND mobile apps
- Broad enterprise-level knowledge of the technologies and
architectures.
- 3-6 years of experience as a Digital Architect in a comparable
(or larger) organization supporting B2C commerce.
- Full-stack system .NET architecture experience
- Well experienced with Cloud, API Microservices
- 24/7 Ecommerce/Retail experience.
Job Role:The is part of the Digital Engineering team enabling
agility within the company by ensuring a connected and informed
enterprise and ecosystem of guest-facing technology. They design,
build and maintain current and target state architectures for the
company's websites, mobile apps, and related products across all
four architecture domains (Business, Information, Application, and
Technology) to the level of detail appropriate to making them
fit-for-purpose and consistent with company's standards. They are
execution-oriented, agile-minded evangelists of architecture as a
means of accelerating time to market, increasing productivity, and
responding to changes with fast, well-informed, and data-driven
decisions.
Business Unit Summary
The Digital Technology Architect reports directly to the Vice
President, Engineering, and will play an important role in crafting
a technology roadmap, influencing the company's digital strategy
and ensuring that the company's digital technology platforms and
processes continue to drive the development of that strategy. This
is a hands-on technical role
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains current and target state Digital
architectures at the product level across Business, Information,
Application, and Technology domains consistent with established
standards and to the level of detail necessary for ensuring they
are fit-for-purpose
- Deliver architectural initiatives that improve efficiency by
overseeing the implementation of the target state architecture
supporting integrated systems in an integrated ecosystem
- Leads and builds digital technology solutions
- Maintains broad enterprise-level knowledge of the
organization's technologies and architectures
- Provide architectural consulting to programs, projects, and
initiatives
- Maintain broad knowledge of IT industry best practices,
technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies
- Ensures alignment of Solution/Product Architecture to
Enterprise Architecture and strategic business plans. Identifies
strategic opportunities for the matrixed architecture practice and
engages key stakeholders to ensure support and alignment
- Maintains a thorough understanding of the current business
environment and how their product/solution supports and enables
it
- Understands business processes and their relationship to the
systems and technology that enable/support them
- Ensure alignment of products/initiatives to enterprise
architecture, technology standards, and policies
- Identify architectural risks and propose alternatives and
solutions
- Follows established methodology to plan, design, and support
the development and delivery of projects/products
- Provides support to product teams to ensure the development of
quality deliverables are properly planned and delivered
- Performs other responsibilities as needed
- Follows company policies, upholds professional standards, and
performs all work in a manner respectful of others
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, technology
or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- 3-6 years of experience as a Digital Architect in a comparable
(or larger) organization supporting B2C commerce (over $250
Million/year in sales)
- Experience developing architectural models, graphical
representations and abstractions based on current frameworks
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to foster alignment
and lead in a matrixed environment
- Strong solution architecture skills with a demonstrated ability
to capture the current state and define and implement a target
architecture
- Strong project management skills including stakeholder
analysis, risk assessment, and risk mitigation
- Strong communication skills; ability to successfully
communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
- Strong time management and organizational skills; demonstrated
ability to meet established deadlines
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems and to work in
a team setting to solve problems

- Technical Skills
- Full-stack system .NET architecture experience
- Full Stack Sitecore 8. x - from data template to TDS and cloud
deployment
- Deep understanding of .net 4.5+ and MVC
- Deep understanding of micro and web services, cloud-native
services, Lambda functions, and REST APIs
- Understanding of Solr, Lucene, or other search/indexing
technologies
- Basic Understanding of .net Core MVC a plus
- 24/7 Ecommerce/Retail/Gaming experience
- Mobile application experience
- Application Performance Management
- DevOps
- Application Security and OWASP
- AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure Cloud and SaaS knowledge
- Knowledge of deploying solutions to AWS
- Experience working within an Agile methodology
- Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio, with team services,
integration, and GIT
