Operate commercial transport vehicles with care and attention to safety standards. Ensure timely delivery of refrigerated goods across various destinations in the USA. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, adhering to federal regulations. Manage routes efficiently while complying with all DOT regulations and safety procedures. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, leveraging the company’s advanced logistics technologies. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. In-depth knowledge of commercial driving regulations and truck operations. Ability to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems.
