Description The Avionics Systems Engineer will be responsible for
developing, managing, and communicating the integration & test
requirement for military upgrade development programs to internal
and external customers. Position Responsibilities: Applies
engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design,
develop, implement, test, and evaluate avionics systems. Performs
air vehicle and systems level analyses to verify performance Plans,
supports, and manages integration projects to meet customer
requirements. Works closely with other functional disciplines to
insure compliance to all critical performance parameters. Suggests
design improvements / spiral opportunities to improve current
integrated weapon system capabilities. Provides technical guidance
and oversight of subcontractors to verify performance, cost, and
schedule requirements are met. Works closely with the Business
Development organization to propose technical solutions to meet new
business opportunities. Qualifications Education Requirements:
Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering is required. Major in Electrical
Engineering ispreferred. Majorin Aerospace Engineering or
Mechanical Engineering may be considered withsufficient experience.
PositionRequirements: Atleast 5 years of Avionics integration
and/or test experience on airborneplatforms is preferred.
Stronglydesire experience with communication systems and/or power
systems Musthave the ability to communicate efficiently and
effectively to coordinateacross multiple internal and external
organizations. Mustbe able to build and maintain effective
relationships with customers, internaland external suppliers, as
well as horizontal integrations across the otherteams.
Familiaritywith military aerospace design and verification
processes to include;requirements develop and verification,
preliminary and detailed design ispreferred. PCproficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
Musthave the ability to work effectively within a team.
Goodinterpersonal and organizational skills are required. Mustbe
