2020 Companies is now hiring a Systems Support Technician II to work in office overlooking Texas Motor Speedway!

About the Position and You

The Systems Support Technician is a temporary to permanent role working in office Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm with some weekend hours required as needed.

  • Provide customer service and support to internal clients
  • Hardware maintenance on laptops, desktops, and tablets
  • Experienced working with Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Windows system and software installations
  • User management in Windows Domains
  • AntiVirus-Malware removal
  • Network printer management and installation

  • Willingness to thoroughly document problem resolutions via ticketing system

  • Professional demeanor

  • Bi-lingual Spanish a plus, but not required

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Daily I.T. help desk support for all employees companywide
  • Maintain extensive/accurate records of work completed using ticketing system
  • Timely reporting of inventory transactions such as inventory receipt, issuance, transfer and disposal
  • Basic troubleshooting for MS Office, networking (internet, FTP), printers (paper jams, toners), password resets
  • Schedules and reconciles periodic physical inventories to ensure accuracy
  • Organizes equipment, supplies and paperwork
  • Remote support using remote access tools and VPN connectivity
  • Research and resolve systems issues where applicable
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Performance Measurements:

  • Fulfill laptop requests within 5 business days
  • Respond to ticket requests within 24 hours
  • Resolve corporate issues by the end of the day, unless rescheduled or approved by management for a later date and time
  • Complete an average of 5 tickets per day


  • Technical Degree with Certification preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Technical break/fix experience replacing components for laptops and desktops (hard drives, LCD screens, power supplies, memory, keyboards, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of data processing, data communications networks, terminology, symbols and methodology
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effectively prioritize and organize multiple projects at one time with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Ability to communicate and work well with other departments
