Position Description

We are looking to hire someone fresh in their career wanting the next step in leadership. In this opportunity you are responsible for the day to day operations associated with new business implementations activities, operations improvement initiatives, and related projects. You will manage the training team and ensures all processes and tasks are completed in a safe, efficient manner incorporating established SOP’s or developing new SOP’s.   • Develops, coordinates and executes business solutions that promote operational excellence and support an organization's business process, strategy and vision.

  • Collaborates with technical and non-technical team members to understand customer inquiries and requirements.

  • Analyzes business and operational needs by engaging with customers, employees and managers to identify and address issues, areas of improvement and high priority projects.

  • Manage a wide array of projects, including new client start-ups and expanded service offerings for existing clients while aligning functional groups (Operations, Information Services, Accounting, HR and Operation’s Support) to form a single cohesive team from inception to completion.

  • Implement metrics to support cost management, service performance and execution to plan.

  • Analyzes effectiveness of current business solutions strategy and reports findings to management teams and stakeholders to achieve financial and service objectives.

  • Proactively identifies implementation opportunities and supports completion of process improvement initiatives and Lean programs.

  • Assists in the development of training programs, presentations and manuals and participates in new hire onboarding process per SCLS and all relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Perform all other duties as needed in support of department goals and projects.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field strongly preferred - Don't have a degree but want one? Apply today

  • 2-3 years proven leadership experience, preferably in start-up operations, project management or lean process improvement role. Logistics experience a plus. 

  • Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen & Lean preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and/or 3rd party logistics preferred.

  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills; must be able to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and work under pressure.

  • Effective decision making, ability to function as needed in a fast-paced environment

  • Understand and demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to day to day operations- Consistently explore and develop new ideas.
