Job Description A rapidly growing insurance agency in the Haltom City, TX area is looking for driven, ambitious self-starters to help take our business to the next level. Previous sales experience is helpful (especially in the insurance industry) but will train the right individual and assist them in the licensing process as well if needed. Primarily Property and Casualty opportunities but will have some opportunity for Life Insurance, Annuity and Financial Services business if you wish to grow your career in those areas as well. Income depends on your activity, but we will assist you all along the way. Unlimited growth potential This position requires: A positive, ---can-do--- attitude An entrepreneurial spirit A drive for success An ability to work independently and as a team A desire to do whatever you can to please our customers A dependable mode of transportation A valid driver---s license A valid and clear Property and Casualty Insurance for (at least) the State of Texas (must acquire within 60 days of hire) To expand income opportunities with the firm, the candidate could also possess: Series 6 Securities license (or better) Series 63 Accident, Life and Health Insurance license Position Responsibilities: Develop marketing strategies and promote all types of new insurance contracts or suggest additions/changes to existing ones Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc Evaluate business or individual customers--- needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles Maintain weekly and monthly productivity reports Maintain an active sales pipeline Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services Fulfill all policy requirements Skills that can accelerate your success: Proven working experience as an insurance agent or in a sales environment Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (automobile, commercial, fire, life, property, medical etc.) Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis Proven ability to work with goals Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
