Residential Monitor-Treatment
$1000 Sign on Bonus
Volunteers of America Texas -is a ministry of service dedicated to
helping people in need rebuild their lives and reach their full
potential. Through hundreds of human service programs, including
housing and healthcare, we help more than 24,000 people in more
than 30 urban and rural communities statewide. For more than a
century, we support and empower America's most vulnerable groups,
including veterans, at-risk youth, homeless individuals and
families as well as seniors and their caregivers.
The Residential Monitor - - Treatment is responsible for securing
the facility, monitoring the resident's care and observance of
house rules, as well as, policies and procedures of Volunteers of
America Texas treatment program.
Maintain chronological written records of events that occur during
the shift.
Monitor client movements inside and outside the facility.
Control contraband in facility through general observation,
facility searches, and client searches.
Ensure facility cleanliness by assigning and monitoring client
work, morning duty, and extra duty assignments.
Observe client behavior and report to the Residential Monitor-Shift
Lead in a timely manner any situations that are irregular or
exceptional.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Six months transferable work
experience desirable and experience in a residential setting
preferred.
Valid Texas Drivers' License, clear MVR and ability to be
insured
Must 18 years of age
