Job Summary: The Delivery Specialist will safely operate a delivery vehicle, inclusive of a truck/trailer combo and others to ensure timely delivery of customer orders to construction sites and other locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area. This role will also safely operate machinery such as forklifts to load/unload and move materials. Shift: 6:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday - Friday, some weekends. Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer orders to construction sites and other locations in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Safely operate a truck/trailer combination, forklifts, and other machinery in loading, unloading, and delivering customer orders.
• Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle's systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, trailer connections, and other key areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Proficiencies:
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicle, including when a trailer is attached, safely and efficiently.
  • Good customer service skills with attention to detail regarding verifying loads and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or similar machinery for loading/unloading of construction materials.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or drag up to 75 pounds. Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED, required.
    • 3 - 5 years of experience in delivery driving in a metropolitan area.
    • Ability to obtain a CDL Class A license within 1 year of hire.
