Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department - Full-time -
MAGNET, Level II Trauma Center - Sign on Bonus for Eligible New
Hires _Fast-paced, high volume ED department is looking for top
skilled nurses. Is that you?_ Work location: Texas Health Fort
Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours:
Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 3 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm
shift available Sign-on bonus for eligible RN's (eligible upon hire
with a signed 2-year retention agreement) Department Highlights
100-bed Marion Emergency Care, 75,000 square foot Level II Trauma
center For minor care needs, the ED offers a Quick Care area
designed to expedite care and patient experience. Those requiring
more extensive workups will be taken to one of the diagnostic
rooms. Patients withcritical injuries or illnesses are treated in
one of 22 Emergent Care rooms, including three resuscitation rooms
for the most severe trauma cases. ER has a dedicated area for
comprehensive, compassionate care of sexual assault victims Enjoy

Here's what you need Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN
preferred CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding
foreign education equivalency required Current RN licensure or
compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon
hire required BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care
and maintained quarterly required ACLS - within 90 days required
PALS - within 90 days required TNCC or ATCN - within 12 months of
hire required CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training -
within 60 days of hire 1-year experience as a clinical nurse or
completion of an RN residency program required Current ED, ICU/PCU
and/or Tele and Med/Surg experience strongly preferred RN must
practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act,
serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and
coordinator for quality patient care The professional nurse
exhibits understanding of basic human needs. The professional nurse
demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient's
affiliations In addition to the required qualifications, a
successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality,
positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a
fast-paced environment. maintain a positive, customer-focused
attitude toward patients possess a strong work ethic and always
display a high level of professionalism have basic computer skills
using medical management application systems What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses
the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate
evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age
specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for
information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift,
inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
