Shift Lead- Crumb Rubber Machine Operator
Intro and job overview: All American Tire Recyclers is the premier tire waste management facility in DFW, we work to create a great place of employment where employees can excel and reach their highest potential. We transport scrap tires to our facility, place them in a machine which breaks them into either Tire Derived Fuel (TDF) or Crumb Rubber and removes the steel. The product is then sold to customers resulting in a completely green process.
The shift lead machine operator will over see 3 other employees on their shift to ensure goals are met and high-quality product is made. This position will also operate the crumb rubber line which is the most technical of the 4 machines in the plant requiring a higher-level, self-motived leader!
Benefits and pay range:

• 18.00-22.00 per hour (with weekend and night shift differential)
  
• Benefits such as health, vacation, holidays, and a set schedule
  
• 12-hour shifts either Front of the week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every other Thursdays or end of the week Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Thursday.
  
• Dayshift 7am - 7pm or Night shift 7pm- 7am
  Responsibilities and Duties:
  
  • Leading a team (3 other employees)
    • Ensuring staff achieve goals, shift efficiency, and follow safety protocols.
      
    • Inspect, report and log equipment usage and maintenance
      
      
    • Running the crumb rubber line
      • Managing the machine to ensure smooth function and minimizing breakdowns while producing a high-quality product.
        
        
      • Mechanical trouble shooting
        • Identifying mechanical challenges, trouble shooting errors and clogs and working with the maintenance team on repairs.
          
          Requirements and Qualifications:
          
          • 2 leaders of leadership experience
            
          • 1 year of manufacturing experience
            
          • Self-motivated, high performing individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment.
            
          • Must be able to walk up and down stairs and lift 50 pounds.
            
          • Previous skid steer and forklift operation is a plus.

            AATR is seeking to hire quickly but also ensuring we bring on the right candidate to fill this essential position on our team. The application process will include coming to the plant for a face to face interview, being able to pass a drug screening and a 90 day probation period as a new employee.
