The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as the
Principal Systems Architect for the F-16 labs. This position will
also serve as the visionary and strategist for the Automated Test
Environment(ATE) and Test Automation Framework(TAF).
The Engineer in this position will serve as the Principal Systems
Architect for the Simulation and Systems Test F-16 Labs area,
overseeing project project plans, system designs, and reviewing
project technical decisions, ensuring consistencies with the
engineering organization strategies, roadmaps, standards, and
technical policies. This position ensures that products in the
project domain(s) have technical integrity and are appropriate for
their intended purpose. This position actively encourages
compliance with engineering organization processes and
methodologies; and develops information, such as newly developed
concepts, theories, or products, which extends knowledge in a given
engineering field.
The Engineer in this position will also lead and develop SST's ATE
strategies, requirements, design, development and deployment. This
person will also work with LM Corporate team to develop and
leverage ATE concepts and design from other business areas.
This Engineer in this position performs technical planning, system
integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and
supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. This
position performs analyses at all levels of total system product to
include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation,
operation, maintenance and disposal. This position ensures the
logical and systematic conversion of customer or product
requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge
technical, schedule, and cost constraints. This position performs
functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies,
requirements allocation and interface definition studies to
translate customer requirements into hardware and software
specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or technical
related field (Math, Physics, Technology, etc---)
--- Experience in the area of 5th generation aircraft simulation /
aircraft subsystems and/or sensors
--- Automated Test Environment experience
**Active Secret clearance required

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
