Job Description:
Description: The Training Systems SW Architect will be a member
the Training SW group that is part of a multi-disciplinary
engineering team consisting of architects, designers, integrators,
and suppliers associated with F-35 Training Systems solutions
spanning both Maintainer and Pilot Training. The Training SW
group's primarily focus is making sure the various training devices
are communicating properly with the various models (radar, EW, CNI,
EOTS) which are nested inside the training systems. The SW team
must collaborate with the design teams to ensure the various models
are simulating the behaving of the real systems on the F-35
aircraft. The SW position will be responsible for implementation of
the model wrappers in support of integrated system performance. The
position will also be required to collaborate with the LM Aero Lab
operations teams who builds the trainers simulated
environments.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an
accredited college.
- Experience collaborating with internal/external customer.
- Experience in developing and executing technical plans /
roadmaps.
Desired Skills:
- Experience or basic working knowledge of Training Systems and/or
Simulation Products.
- Basic understanding of principles of Infrared (IR) and/or Radio
Frequency (RF) systems.
- Basic working knowledge of avionics subsystems
(radar/EW/CNI/displays) .
- Technical and/or Project Leadership experience.
- Proposal Experience (Basis of Estimate, Scope
Negotiations, Shaping Customer Requirements).
- Technical management of a supplier designs covering
Requirements/Design/Integration/validation.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
