Band Saw Operator (Fort Worth, TX)

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read and understand production order requirements (blade, BOM and produced item).
Set up saw and material within guidelines and tolerance (size, length and gauge).
Measure square accurately within 1/16"
Store produced item accurately bundled or placed in storage container.
- Gives instructions to other operators as needed at shift change.
- Other duties as assigned.
  REQUIREMENTS:
  - Ability to read and understand production order requirements
  - Ability to multitask in a fast paced physically demanding environment.
  - Ability to work efficiently and safe.
  - Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
  - Ability to follow written instruction in English.
  - Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  - Ability to work efficiently in a group setting.
  - Ability to read tape measure within 1/16".
  - High school diploma or GED preferred
  - Maintains composure in stressful situations.
  - Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
