A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Excellent communication, written and verbal are a must, as well as building relationships with vendors and other departments. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening.Key responsibilities- Perform special projects as assigned- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Accomplish full-cycle A/P- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
