This role is integral to our engineering operations, ensuring that our steel machined components meet the highest standards of quality and precision. The successful candidate will be responsible for first part inspection, first article inspection, parts inspection, and drawing documentation. Perform first part and first article inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.2. Conduct thorough parts inspections, identifying any defects or deviations, and taking appropriate corrective action.3. Prepare and maintain accurate drawing documentation, recording inspection results and any necessary follow-up actions.4. Collaborate with the shop inspector to ensure that all steel machined components meet the required standards.5. Utilize OD Ring Gauges, thread lead, profile gauges, and micrometer to measure and inspect parts.6. Work closely with production team to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.7. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to while performing inspections.8.
