Location:Medical Office Building-Fort Worth (750 8th Ave)Department:Child LifeShift:Varying Shifts (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:The Fort Worth Urgent Care Clinic is seeking a Child Life Specialist who will be responsible for providing essential life experiences, family support & education to patients and families in the health care system. The child life specialist collaborates with other health care providers, as well as the community, to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience. Hours: Sun-Wed 12 pm - 10:30 pmRequired Education/Qualifications :

• Bachelor's (or) Master's Degree in Child Life, Child Development, or a closely related field.
• Experience working as a Child Life Specialist preferred.
• Completion of an internship/fellowship in child life is required.
• Certified Child Life Specialist (or eligible) within one year of hire.
