Alliance handles all types of civilian, military and cargo aircraft while offering world class service and state of the art facilities to pilots, passengers and military personnel.Position Summary:Repair and maintains diesel and gasoline industrial fuel trucks and/or work vehicles along with aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE).Responsibilities:* Reads work order and observes and listens to truck in operation to determine malfunction/diagnose problem(s).* Makes mechanical repairs to equipment after a complete inspection and analysis of breakdown has been completed.* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE including diesel and gasoline aircraft tugs, ground power units (GPU), gasoline work vehicles and any motorized equipment.* Records complete repair description on repairs order, including correct model and serial number of equipment and record hour meter reading* Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and makes adjustments.* Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired equipment to verify conformance to specifications.* Maintains professional image of self and work area.* Tracks and schedules with Operations Manager or Training and Safety Coordinator when equipment is due for routine maintenance or has other service-related issues.* Assist Facility Technician with facility repairs as needed.Required Skills/Abilities:* Successful performance of this position requires working knowledge of internet software and smart phone apps.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.* Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Education and Experience:* High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)* Minimum one-year documented experience repairing gasoline or aviation fuel trucks and related equipment.* ASE or other industry certification preferred.* A combination of education and experience will be considered.EEO Statement:Hillwood is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment, to all applicants and employees regardless of, race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, handicap, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
