JOB DESCRIPTION As part of our Cybersecurity Architecture team, you will bring your development and security background to produce a library of consistent, secure, automated patterns for Java, Python, React and Angular in Amazon Web Services, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform environments. These patterns include both documentations explaining the requirements and rationale for the design, and directly usable code samples, development frameworks and automated deployment scripts. Working as an Architect and prototyping engineer, your passion for technology and thirst for innovation will help shape the future of global digital commerce, now and for years to come. Every day, you'll bring critical day-to-day leadership and thinking to the table, working with teams of engineers, aligning cross-functional projects, ensuring that they're within reason, fiscally and technically. You'll collaborate with internal teams and business leaders alike, creating strategically sound Target State Architectures and proving they work through lab prototypes and early implementations with our application teams. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Fluency in architecture and design across all systems Knowledge in at least one area of technical architecture Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes Experience in risk and risk control compliance Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals 6 years of technical excellence, including 2 of the following: Creating new applications in, or migrating existing applications to, AWS or GCP PaaS environments Infrastructure / Automation engineer; at scale automation of Unix, DB, appliances, cloud services Spring boot / React app dev stack Building application development frameworks; mass used APIs, open source projects or SDKs Security architecture, Pen Testing, Hardening Desirable expereince in the following: AWS, GCP, K8s, Cloud Foundry Dependency / Package management, Spring Boot Linux, Java, Python, React, Angular Jenkins, Spinnaker, Terraform Data Analytics Metasploit, Nessus, Kali, Verodin, etc. The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group's number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable and resilient. High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
