Job Summary:
The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for Tier II
support for all enterprise applications across the Wilks Brothers
enterprise. This will include provision, maintenance and support of
all major business applications and instances of custom-built
applications supporting the Wilks Brothers enterprise. This role
will engage with business units to enhance and evolve the
application portfolio to ensure the applications stay aligned with
business strategy.
This position will be 100% in-office in Fort Worth, TX 76126.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide application configuration and maintenance on business
facing systems, by becoming an expert on the use of all aspects of
these systems.
- Deliver support to existing business users and investigating
and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and
queries.
- Provide functional support for all ERP systems reported defects
and/or change requests that are routed from Tier I service desk for
resolution.
- Functional subject matter expert with emphasis on the
Financials, MRP, Inventory and Manufacturing modules to reproduce
reported defects.
- Provide authorized access to instances to include development,
test, staging, sandbox, and production environments.
- Provide Tier II support for all SharePoint related issues
and/or change requests that are routed from Tier I service desk for
resolution.
- Ensure application operational run books and configuration
documents are accurate and maintained.
- Perform transition tasks, knowledge transfer assignments, and
audit assignments for Wilks Brothers applications identified and
assigned.
- Assist IT Business Manager with business requirements gathering
sessions with business units for all change requests.
- Create business requirements documents to pass to development
group for resolution of defects and/or facilitating enhancement
requests.
- Conduct user acceptance testing sessions to ensure defect
resolution and/or system enhancements satisfy the end-user
request.
- Create change management documents to deploy approved
modifications to production release schedule.
- Participate as part of the Application Support Team on on-call
rotation schedule.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications: -
- Essential: Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or other
related field or equivalent work experience and at least 2-3 years
support background with ERP and IT systems and
applications.
- Essential: Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft
Dynamics suite of products with emphasis on the Financials, MRP,
Inventory, and Manufacturing modules.
- Advanced knowledge of any of the following systems a plus.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017/Business
Central/SAP/Odoo/Spruce.
- Office 365
- SharePoint Online
- TMW Logistic Software
- Working knowledge of Service Desk tool such as Remedy BMC,
Track-IT, or Clarity is a plus.
- ITIL certification or training is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Able to read, write English and clearly speak English.
- Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to
achieve job functions.
- Sitting - at desk or computer station, standing, walking,
speaking, hearing - frequent.
- Bending/Stooping, twisting, lifting - occasional.
- Gripping, reaching, writing, data entry, handling (paper,
files, etc) - frequent.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
- Fine Motor Skills - typing, 10-key, ability to write for
extended periods of time.
- Communication - phone communication, communication with
personnel and vendors.
- Seeing - able to see the computer screen and to endure the "eye
strain" from prolonged computer use.
- Climbing - able to go up and down stairs.
- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless
otherwise directed by supervisor.
