the Job:The MRI/CT Technician is accountable for performing quality
imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge
while maintaining strict attention to patient care. The technician
works in the MRI department performing physician requested MRI/CT
images.What will you be doing?Operates MR equipment to produce
diagnostic images as ordered by physicians in a timely and cost
efficient manner. Explains procedure and positions to patients.
Reviews and evaluates video monitor to determine if images are
satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Performs a variety of
clerical procedures involved in the processing of patients and
medical records. May file and retrieve files and reports as needed
and/or requested. Burns MRI CD's as needed. Performs all other
duties assigned by supervisor.Schedule:40 hours a week, no weekend
shifts, and no callRequired Experience:Graduation from accredited
program in Radiological Technology.2-3 years MRI experience
preferred.Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in
cross sectional anatomy.Good interpersonal skills.Must have the
ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high
level of stress.Licensure, Registration, and/or CertificationARRT
(RT) (MRI) (CT), required.Requires BLS Certification.*$1,500.00
