with overtime available!This is a full-time experienced industrial
maintenance position that is responsible for both
mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, repairing, and installing
traditional/automated industrial and manufacturing systems that
could include:Packaging - Automated robots (palletizers, case
packers, etc.), weigh scales systems, vibratory conveyors,
etcProcessing - Extruders, fryers, ovens, control valves, positive
displacement pumps, conveyors, etc.Facilities - Boilers, chillers,
centrifuges, vacuum pumps, compressors, cooling towers, HVAC,
plumbing etc.Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for
troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading
schematics, and using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter,
amp meter, oscilloscope). Our Maintenance Mechanics need to have an
understanding of and experience with Programmable Logic Controls
and contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative
maintenance systems and work order tracking. Maintenance Mechanics
have the skill and flexibility to work on any
equipment/infrastructure within the facility and to operate lathes,
mills, arc and Heliarc(r) welders for repair, and
fabrication.Although you will start out working for Frito-Lay, this
job can open the door to career opportunities with our parent

compensation up to a potential $35.62/hr as you learn and exhibit
skill sets surpassing an entry level position towards an
experienced mechanic. A base collection of tools are provided and

in-person interview, you will be asked to complete a hands-on
electrical skills test. Before going any further, you should know
that our Manufacturing Maintenance team is known for these critical
areas of expertise: Understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V
3-phase motors) Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing
interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)

during Preventive Maintenance processes to drive proactive repair
cultureWork will vary from day to day depending on need and your
hours will vary by assigned location. It also gets loud, and the
Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities are large. While we want

temperature in our facilities is limited. Indoor facility working
