Job Description Fort Worth, TXDescription: The Production Planner
will support customer orders and manufacturing operations at the
Cooperative Industries Aerospace and Defense Fort Worth, Texas
facility. This is a full-time position for a production planner.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following: - MRP -
Expediting - ECO's - Kitting of material - Scheduling inflow and
outflow of material - Familiar with inventory systems - Knowledge
of shipping and receiving - Capacity planning/alignment Main
responsibility is to meet customers expectations by coordinating
with materials, production, and sales to achieve on time delivery.
This role will be responsible for: - Create and maintain the master
production schedule for the company's products - Adjust the master
schedule as needed to accommodate changes in customer demand or
production constraints - Working with the functional teams to
achieve a high level of on time delivery to customer contracts -
Lead projects to improve on time delivery as required - WO creation
for production and returns (RMAs) - WO release schedule for kitting
- ECO implementation across the business - Customer expedites, push
outs, and cancellations - Manage Material Scrap and replacement -
Working with materials on material delivery changes and relaying
that information to production and sales - Working with production
on job date changes and challenges and relaying that information to
sales - Ensuring WO's are progressing daily to meet customers'
needs. - Use reporting tools to make sure all production leads and
supervisors are working toward the same goal - Manage WIP using
lean principals and working shortages daily and keep team updated
on any changes - Coordinate with purchasing to highlight critical
supply chain needs Requirements: Skill requirements: - Familiarity
with MRP/ERP systems - Bachelor's Degree a plus - Experience within
a technology company (Defense or Aerospace a plus) - PC literate
with MS Office Products - Must be able to communicate effectively
and work across all functions. Reporting: This position will report
