maintain our culture. The Logistics Analyst is responsible for
creating and executing supply chain operational plans and
strategies. You will be involved in the development and execution
of supply chain initiatives, including demand planning and
inventory management, and meeting business objectives. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipments of products by all modes of
transportations, road, air and ocean, monitoring daily activities
required to transport materials.
- Collaborate with an internal sales team to improve customer
order handling.
- Arrange transportation services to meet needs of customer and
production schedules.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and accurate inventory
transactions in support of providing service to both
internal/external customers.
- Keep track of cargo transportation procedures.
- Maintain the financial constraints of logistical operations
without sacrificing effectiveness.
- Coordinate the use of storage facilities such as warehouses to
maximize available space.
- Create all applicable export documentation, such as commercial
invoices, packing invoices and any other customers documentation
required.
- Communicate directly with customer's traffic/warehouse
department to ensure their transportation requirements are
met.
- Analyze operational or transportation details to identify
potential areas for improvement, savings or efficiency; including
innovative solutions.
- Oversee data integrity - review, classify, audit and record
information within the appropriate systems or files; requires
knowledge of professional related supply chain principles.
- Review operational claims, failures or damages, perform root
cause and other reviews to determine responsible parties, and
present to leaders or internal and external customers.
- Assist with reviewing and responding to customer requests,
which includes applying transportation principles, drafting
responses and outlines, and other professional support.
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements
- Solid understanding of transportation and logistics strategies
to include route optimization, cross dock operations, and network
design.
- Proven skills utilizing business management tools including
Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Project.
- Ability to pull detailed plans into an integrated program view,
to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills,
including the ability to respond to changing needs and shifting
priorities.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and
listening.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team
environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of business information and
project plans.
- Familiarity with supply chain, warehouse and transportation
operations, technology, and software preferred.

focus; and teamwork. Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or
closely related field preferred.
- 3 or more years with logistics, planning, and/or project
management experience. Compensation: $65-80K Benefits We are
