SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE: (inside sales role)
Hourly rate plus bonus
Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-530pm CT
JOB OVERVIEW :As a successful Sales Development Representative, you will increase laboratory sales revenue by qualifying leads for the Account Executives. You will qualify leads, including MD's, nurses, genetic counselors, and laboratory staff. The successful sales development specialist will need a level of sophistication to handle customer relationships with industry thought leaders, manage the dynamics between Account Executives and the sales development team, as well as be able to drive business for Ambry Genetics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop qualified leads for Account Executives.
  • Qualify leads through a series of business development call scripts by calling and emailing.
  • Schedule appointments with the field sales team within the CRM or shared calendar.
  • Maintain the integrity of the lead data, and log activity in the company database and CRM.
  • Manage calls into the department for potential customers interested in Ambry's products.
  • Assist with trade shows and complete field rides with Account Executives as experience is gained in the sales development position.
  • Achieve all goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    • 2+ years' experience B2B sales with preference being in selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals.
    • Bachelor's Science Degree- Business, Marketing, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or Nursing.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Google Suite applications.
    • Skilled in a CRM application such as Salesforce.com.
    • Strong track record of success selling a broad portfolio of laboratory testing to different medical specialties.
    • Ability to sell technically complex products (training will be provided).
    • Strong oral and written communication skills specifically through phone and email communication including cold calling.
    • Strengths in networking and relationship development over the phone.
    • Some formal sales training experience.
    • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and problem-solve.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Google Suite applications.
    • Skilled in a CRM application such as Salesforce.com.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills specifically through phone and email communication including cold calling.
    • Strengths in networking and relationship development over the phone.
    • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and problem-solve. EDUCATION:
      • College Education or Similar Experience - Business, Marketing, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or Nursing.
      • Possesses a high school degree or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred but not required).
      • Previous experience in health care or clinical laboratory preferred.
      • A copy of school transcripts or diploma is required for the employee file.
