The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is looking for a
cause-driven leader to join the team. Job Description The Youth
Sports & Teen Director is responsible for the strategic leadership,
development, and operational oversight of all youth sports and teen
programming at the William McDonald YMCA. This position ensures
high-quality, mission-driven programs that promote youth
development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The
Director will oversee traditional youth sports programming while
leading a comprehensive teen engagement strategy serving
approximately 375 teens across six zip codes. Teen initiatives
include teen nights, Welding Program, Culinary Program, and
Workforce Development programming. This leader builds strong
community partnership, manages staff, drives enrollment growth,
ensures financial sustainability, and creates measurable impact

transform lives! Qualifications Education & Background Bachelors
degree in related field or equivalent work experience Minimum 3-5
years of leadership experience in youth sports, teen programming,
or community-based youth development. Proven experience supervising
staff and managing budgets. Strong organizational, communication,
and leadership skills. Ability to engage diverse youth populations
and foster inclusive environments. CPR/First Aid certification is
required. Essential Functions Oversee the planning, development,
implementation, and evaluation of all youth sports programming.
Ensure high-quality leagues, clinics, camps, and skill-development
programs aligned with YMCA standards. Recruit, train, supervise,
and evaluate sports staff, coaches, and volunteers. Manage budgets,
monitor financial performance, and meet enrollment and revenue
targets. Ensure safety, risk management, and compliance with YMCA
policies. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for youth
participants and families. Develop strategies to grow participation
and community engagement. Oversee and actively engage with teens
from six different zip codes. Facilitate programming that
encourages leadership, character development, workforce readiness,
and positive youth development. Create safe, welcoming spaces that
foster belonging and personal growth. Plan, implement, and evaluate
teen programming designed to build community, strengthen peer
connections, and promote leadership development. Ensure consistent
structure, safety protocols, and program quality are aligned with
YMCA mission and teen development goals. Oversee and participate in
data collection and analysis to measure teen program outcomes and
impact. Establish and maintain strong relationships with local
schools, ISDs, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth offers a competitive salary and
benefits package for selected candidates. The yearly salary range
for this position is $48,000 - $50,000 and will be commensurate
with the selected candidates experience. The YMCA provides
